Key Tactics

The core tactic of this deck is to give your Summoner high Lifesap attack, allowing you to attack every turn while healing any damage you take.

Mask of the Insatiable is the most important card in this deck, as you have no other defenses in this deck, so mulligan hard for it. Early Flurry does nothing if you don’t have Lifesap, so mulligan away all weapons if you have to, loosing both masks to deckdamage means you loose even with Flurry.

Against slower decks you can wait for turn three to play the mask so don’t be afraid to devote your source turn one and two for Blood Blades and Hateful Hammers. Congruent Mace is a great damage boost once you got your attack high, but not as impactful early game. Mortal Strike is a good way to close out the game but because it only effects one strike from Flurry its more useful to destroy a blocking Soul that your opponent thought would survive.

Emerus allows you to fill your hand with Bonespears, which make for good handblockers when your opponent doesn’t have Souls to target with them, or you can get Zombies to use with Mekhi. You will heal back all the extra cards, so you become harder and harder to kill the longer Emerus sticks around.

Mehki allows you to get more attack while giving you a guaranteed way of activating the Dying Breath of your zombies. Destroying your Plague Zombies clears your opponents low health Souls while you can destroy your Horde Zombies before you attack to get them back on the field on the same turn.
