Key Tactics
This deck has four win conditions: The first is a very large horde of zombies buffed by apprentice necromancers. The second is to get lucky, take an early hit, and bring out a lot of power From the Grave. The third is Revenant Lord. And the fourth is to keep recycling expensive souls with the Unending Crypt.
Use Rosamund in reaction to taking damage and see if your top card has From the Grave. Or at the end of your opponent’s turn if she’s still ready of course.
If your opponent attacks with two souls, block one with a Horde Zombie, the other soul will summon the Horde Zombie again for you.
You have a good amount of self damage in this deck, if the Crypt is one the field you can use them together to summon souls for cheap or free. A Revenant Lord handblocks four damage, just enough to take an entire Bloodspear and ensure it remains on top of the discard.
Preparatory Necromancy isn’t just just a way to get free souls, it’s an excellent way to scare your opponent away from attacking you.
A Draconic Necroid consumes one card on turn start, even your opponent’s turn. And yes, it can consume source. Getting it out early can win the match, or lose it.
